Spectrum, the London SFF Writers' Group, has been running since 2015, and Kat has been organising the group activities for the last couple of years. The group gets together online at the moment - after all, it is 2021 - to critique each other's work, share knowledge, and encourage each other, through a series of workshops, writing retreats, critique meetings for short stories, and novel feedback groups.
If you are a writer in the speculative genres and are interested in joining Spectrum, check out our website and find us on Meet Up. We are also on Twitter @SpectrumSFF.
Here are some books by members of Spectrum, spanning genres from epic fantasy to hard science fiction and everything inbetween.
Some more books by Spectrum members that unfortunately are not sold through Bookshop.org include:
- J.G. Murray, The Bridal Party
- David Allan, Quaestor and The Empty Throne
Once Upon a Parsec: The Book of Alien Fairy Tales, ed. David Gullen
- Carter Blakelaw (pseudonym), CB's Top 100 Writing Tips, Tricks, Techniques and Tools from the Advice Toolbox: Break the Rules, Not the Writing
