Brilliant books here by brilliant writers who I sometimes think are not read as often, as loudly, as they should be. Disclaimer: I'm being cheeky with the Tom Drury as it is not a collection. It is a novel, clearly, but bits of it were published as stories in the New Yorker so... and it is also just a wonderful and hilarious piece of work so.
