My memoir, It's Always Summer Somewhere, threads life through themes of cricket, music, family, love and grief. Here is a list that attempts to collate some of those; a selection of really special books on music, sport, grief, love and therapy. Some I was reading during the writing of the book, others I have read since. Some I have loved for years - deliberately held in mind while writing my story - and others simply have enough similarities that suggest you might like them if you liked mine. A handful are in there just because they are too good to leave off any list. They come in no particular order and are all highly recommended!
