Each year, the newly established Nero Book Awards will highlight great authors and outstanding reads across four categories: Children’s Fiction, Fiction, Debut Fiction and Non-Fiction, focusing on books written by authors based in the UK and Ireland.

This year, the judges were asked to choose the books they would most want to press into the hands of friends and family for their quality and readability, and the winners of each category are presented here. 

The Nero Awards 'Book of the Year' will be announced on 14th March, so there's plenty of time to read the featured books!
