I've been asked many times if I know of any picture books for young children of East and Southeast Asian heritage. Most of these are published by American or Canadian authors/illustrators but hopefully your children will still enjoy seeing themselves in these books. The U.K market is lagging behind but I hope to update this list with BESEA authors and illustrators soon. If an author is not BESEA I will flag it and let you know that only the illustrator is Asian.
