My favourite book when I was growing up was The Lord of the Rings, but I always felt a bit sorry for the goblins and orcs - why did they always have to be the baddies? So here's my fantasy trilogy, in which the goblins get to be the heroes for a change. Considerably goofier than the Mortal Engines or Railhead books, I hope it will appeal to fantasy fans of 7 and up. Cover art by Johnny Duddle
