The Parliamentary Book Awards in 2024

By Timberbooks

The Parliamentary Book Awards were launched by the Booksellers Association and the Publishers Association in  2016 to champion the best of political writing and to recognise the important link between politics and the book world.  Each year, publishers are invited to nominate titles and authors for the Awards, with booksellers selecting the shortlists, and parliamentarians vote for the winner in each of the three categories:

  • Best Non-Fiction by a Parliamentarian
  • Best Memoir / Autobiography by a Parliamentarian, and
  • Best Political Book by a Non-Parliamentarian

The 2023 winners were announced on 6 February 2024.
