The BBC's  Wild Isles celebrates the amazing and varied wildlife found throughout the British Isles. The wildlife spectaculars are a wonder to be behold, but while ancient woodlands are felled, rivers polluted and moorlands turned into grouse friendly monocultures, Britain's steady decline in wildlife populations will continue.
