Based at the west end of Biggar’s flourishing High Street of lovely independent shops, Atkinson-Pryce is a real bookshop with real books and booksellers who love them. 

There is something for everyone in our shop; a fantastic kids section with everything from tiny tots to emerging adults; there’s science, history, art, contemporary issues; the best in fiction, Scottish writing, nature, travel and cookery to name a few.  We have a very efficient ordering system and can source pretty much anything - we especially enjoy a challenge (you know the one, that book you heard on the radio a week ago but can’t remember the title or author), don’t hesitate to ask!
