I am an advocate of books, for enjoyment and learning alike, and I am passionate about movements which champion the push for diversity and representation across publishing. By producing authentic and wide-ranging experiences within our literature, the more complete our view of the world will be. By producing more inclusive texts we are also confirming existence and experience, allowing all individuals to feel valued and present in our social space and media. All people, particularly our young ones, deserve characters to live vicariously through, to love through, laugh through, and learn through. 
 

I spend a lot of time reading and promoting books as both a consumer and a professional working in the book industry, and I want to better support independent booksellers and publishers who are equally as passionate about books.
