The Ironbridge Bookshop

Hi! I’m Meg and I run The Ironbridge Bookshop, in the heart of Shropshire.

We’re an independent bookshop, selling mostly secondhand books and specialising in vintage Penguin books. My shop is quite small and quirky but we have a huge range of stock for all ages and walks of life.

The shop has been around for about 11 years now and is stronger than ever. I took the shop over nearly 6 years ago when I was only 18 and I’m still learning everyday. I truly love my job and I love bookshops. One of my favourite things to do is recommend and talk about books, so that‘s what I plan to do on Bookshop.org. Books have always been a huge part of my life. I could never imagine doing something that didn’t involve books.
