London Review Bookshop
Located in the heart of Bloomsbury, the London Review Bookshop has established itself as an essential part of the capital’s cultural life. Opened in 2003 by the London Review of Books, it’s a place for people who love books to meet, talk, drink excellent tea and coffee, consume delicious cake, and of course, browse.
Our selection of more than 20,000 titles ranges from the classics of world literature to the cutting edge of contemporary fiction and poetry, not forgetting a copious display of history, politics, philosophy, cookery, essays and children’s books. Our aim has always been to represent on our shelves the distinctive ethos of the Review – intelligent without being pompous; engaged without being partisan. If you aren’t able to visit us in person, we hope our website will give you a flavour of what makes the shop unique. If you are able to join us in Bury Place, we look forward to finding you the books you know you need, and more importantly, the ones you didn’t know you needed.
In addition to browsing our titles here on bookshop.org, you can shop for our staff picks of special, limited, signed and smaller-press books on our Staff Picks site here and can also sign up to our monthly surprise book box subscription here.
