Anamot Press
Queer experiences across borders and other stories told with no shame.
Anamot Press was set up in March 2020. We publish poetry, essays and short stories. Sharing voices and perspectives on intersecting experiences of gender, sexuality, race, migration, class, belonging and loss - with no shame.
Anamot [Անամոթ] means shameless in Armenian.
During lockdown we curated the Poetry Streaming project and invited over 40 writers, poets and publishers to share a weekly recorded reading. Visit IGTV to listen to readings from Bhanu Kapil, Victoria Chang, Khadijah Queen, Safia Elhillo, John McCullough, Emily Berry, Raymond Antrobus, Mary Jean Chan and many more.
