If you are looking for your favorite author, a book for the kids or simply for some ‘me’ time to browse and relax in one of our comfy leather chairs, Astley Book Farm & Coffee Shop is the place to be, come rain or shine.  We now have a wonderful new Yurt in the courtyard complete with log-burner giving plenty of additional seating.

We hold around 85,000 books. The range includes antiquarian, rare and out-of-print books, a huge range of fiction, comprehensive non-fiction sections, Children's Hayloft and the Ten Bob Barn. We add new books to the shelves and the online shop daily. And we’re open almost every day of the year, from 10am-5pm.  We buy books, but please ring ahead and discuss with our buyer.  See you soon!
