Books Up North

We are based in North Yorkshire and are passionate about connecting readers and writers and celebrate all things book-related.

We work with publishers, libraries, indie bookshops, schools, literature festivals and communities to create opportunities for readers of any age to discover new books, whether that be at live or virtual literary events https://booksupnorth.com/ 

We organise events with a variety venues and festivals and can also set-up a pop-up bookshop, if required.

We coordinate the only Children's Book Review page and post authentic kids' reviews of newly published children's books read and reviewed by younger readers https://booksupnorth.com/category/kids-reviews/ 

Sarah Tyson hosts a literary podcast called 'Books For Your Library' which is  linked to our website and Bookshop where customers can order personalised signed and gift-wrapped copies of the featured titles for a limited period of time after each episode is published via Anchor.fm
