I’m a thirtysomething reader, writer and professional editor. Growing up, I read a lot of Enid Blyton, Ann M Martin, C S Lewis and L M Montgomery. As a teenager, my mum introduced me to fantasy – through David Eddings – and crime fiction – through Agatha Christie.
