The home of Post-Punk-Folk-Romanticism…Chroma Editions was born in July 2020 as a tiny independent press based in Lancashire.
Their inaugural title: Boundary Songs: Notes From the Edge of the Lake District National Park by David Banning was published in September 2020. It received a runners-up award in the 2021 Lakeland Book Awards and won many plaudits. A second title - From Tarmac to Towpath: Excursions into Lockdown followed in May 2021 - heralded as a collection of 'startling sensory essays and photography' (Will Smith, Cumbria Life) it featured powerful contributions from 13 artists across the UK.
The latest book - Post-Nearly Press Conversation Series Editions 1-5 /2014-2019 (published 25 November 2021) brings together all five of the Post-Nearly Press Series of books for the first time. A must for fans, newcomers and collectors alike, it includes live face-to-face conversations with five of the UK's most visionary authors/artists, from: Iain Sinclair, Chris Petit, Andrew Kötting, Alan Moore & Stewart Lee.
