We are a family-run generalist bookshop selling new books, based in the ancient market town of Cowbridge, Wales.

Established by John and Kyrie MacLean in 1984, we have been run by their son Ross for the last 15 years. We thrive in a supportive local community and are aiming for a third generation of family ownership.

We stock a wide range of high-quality titles for adults and children and can swiftly source those we don't.  Recommending books we think you'll love has been a passion for 35 years and counting!
