Hello and welcome! 

I’m 17 years old and as well as doing my A Levels, awaiting a life as a biologist...I’m also a published author! In 2020 I became the youngest ever recipient of a literary prize (Wainwright Prize for UK Nature Writing) and followed it by being awarded the An Post Irish Book Award for Newcomer of the Year and the Books Are My Bag Non-fiction Book of the Year! 

I’m also autistic and although the awards are incredible, it’s really the subject matter that deserves the respect and attention. I call myself a ‘naturalist’ which is someone who is fascinated and curious about the natural world - but I believe we are all naturalists, deep inside - and I hope my books help you (re)connect with nature; a more compassionate and kind view of the world.
