A wonderfully diverse and fascinating selection of books mostly about nature, all about story.
At Elementum we bring together a wide variety of writing on memoir and poetry, folklore and fiction, science and art, ecology and travel, making and craft. We hope our selection of books will encourage you to read more widely and foster a sense of wonder.
Run by photographer Jay Armstrong, Elementum is located in the Abbey town of Sherborne in Dorset but our community reaches across the world through our sister publication Elementum Journal.
Although we're mostly about nature, Jay's also created a wildcard list that will be updated regularly – What a Bookseller Reads on Her Day Off Think a completely different change of pace, a guilty pleasure, a classic you've always meant to get your teeth into, or a Sunday afternoon don't-disturb-me tome of a book. Bliss!
