Emer Stamp

Award-winning author Emer Stamp grew up on a sheep farm in Devon, which is where she found the inspiration for her first series of books-The Diaries of Pig . Writing and illustrating these books gave her the confidence to quit her high-flying job as an advertising creative and dedicate herself to writing and illustrating full-time. Her books have been praised for their combination of humour and heart.

Emer lives in London with her husband and two children. When she is not writing, illustrating or trying to work out what to make the kids for tea, she's creating websites for her work, through which she loves to communicate with her fans.
