Jeremy Strong once worked in a bakery, putting the jam into three thousand doughnuts every night. Now he puts the jam into stories instead, which he finds much more exciting. He loves writing stories because it's 'the only time you alone have complete control and can make anything happen'. His ambition is to make you laugh (or at least snuffle). He lives near Bath with his wife, Gillie, four cats and a flying cow. (It's plastic.) Between them they have four children and Jeremy has six grandchildren.
Jeremy got his first book published in 1978 (SMITH'S TAIL) and since than has published a further 115 titles. His books have won numerous awards and are published in many different languages. He is a frequent visitor to schools and festivals around the world. He also makes virtual appearances on Zoom and similar platforms and makes personalised videos to encourage reading and writing in schools.
