Kassia St Clair is a reader who writes for a living.
Her first book, The Secret Lives of Colour, is a Sunday Times top-ten bestseller, was selected as Radio 4′s Book of the Week in 2017 and has been translated into over a fifteen languages. The Golden Thread: How Fabric Changed History was a Radio 4 Book of the Week, a Sunday Times Book of the Year and was shortlisted for the Somerset Maugham Award.
She also writes for the Economist, the Telegraph, Architectural Digest, the TLS and Wired; her Elle Decoration column has been running since 2013.
