Katharine McEwen

Katharine McEwen has been illustrating children’s books for 25 years. She wrote and illustrated her own book, Bear Hug, in 2014, published by Templar. She is proud to have collaborated with some fabulous authors over the years - among them; Allan Ahlberg (with the Children’s Book Award winning Gaskitts series), Michael Rosen and Giles Andreae. Most recently, Katharine worked with the publisher Nosy Crow, illustrating the latest title by Ben Lerwill; Do Elephants Suck Their Trunks? Amazing Ways Animals Are Just Like Us. Also with Nosy Crow and in collaboration with the National Trust, she illustrated the Who’s Hiding... series of lift-the-flap nature books for very young children.

Katharine lives in Kent with her 10 year old son.
