Hello book lovers! I'm Kevin Crossley-Holland, and I've written quite a few books for children - historical novels, retellings of Viking myths and British and Irish folktales, as well as a short ghost story, Storm, winner of the Carnegie Medal.
The first book in my Arthur trilogy, The Seeing Stone, won the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, and the trilogy has now been translated into 25 languages and sold over one million copies. My latest book is Norse Tales : Stories from Across the Rainbow Bridge, and the stunning illustrations are by Jeffrey Alan Love, who was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award for our Norse Myths: Tales of Odin, Thor, and Loki.
I also write poetry, and I've translated Beowulf from Anglo-Saxon, and worked with many composers and artists. My wife Linda and I live in North Norfolk, and we've just made a wildlife pond at the bottom of the garden.
