We are Lyme’s local independent bookshop where customer service and values bring you the best in a spacious and tranquil environment. We get lots of lovely comments from customers about their experience here and the range of books we stock.  Browsers are welcome and advice and help are always available from our knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Our stock covers all subject areas and you will find strong sections on geology and fossils (we are at the heart of the Jurassic Coast), local walks and by authors with local links.

We are open 9.30am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday in summer (5pm in the Winter), and 10.00am to 4pm on Sundays. We are open every day except Christmas Day.
