Moon Lane Books - located in Catford, South East London – is a children’s bookshop with a carefully curated selection of adult general fiction and non-fiction. Since opening in 2018, Moon Lane Books has been dedicated to addressing inequity in children’s books: inequity of access, representation and roles in the publishing industry so that every child has access to books that enable them to feel seen, reflected, respected and valued, giving each and every child the opportunity to thrive. From picture books to general fiction, we endeavour to support books that are inclusive and representative of the society we live in. 

We cannot underestimate how important our community is to us; whether it's our local schools or the families that make regular trips to visit us, without our community we could not do what we do.  That's why we are so excited to share our lists of compelling and thrilling books with those near or far who want to support us.
