Olivia Laing is a widely acclaimed writer and critic. She’s the author of six books, including To the River, The Trip to Echo Spring and The Lonely City. Her work has been translated into 19 languages and in 2018 she was awarded the Windham Campbell Prize for non-fiction. Her first novel, Crudo, was a Sunday Times top ten bestseller and won the James Tait Black Prize. Her collected essays on art are published as Funny Weather: Art in an Emergency.
