Poorna Bell is an award-winning author and journalist working in the industry for 17 years, with three published non-fiction books. Her first book, Chase The Rainbow, was a "beautiful, lyrical" book described as "game-changing" by Arianna Huffington, which examined big mental health topics such as depression, addiction and suicide, following the death of her husband Rob, while she was Executive Editor at HuffPost. Her second book In Search Of Silence, examined how to build a life after grief, set within travel writing as she went on a journey to India and New Zealand. Her third book, Stronger published by Bluebird, is a departure from that, focussing on changing everything she knew about women's strength, which is a mixture of her own journey to becoming a competitive powerlifter, as well as interviewing 50 people across a wide range of sports, abilities and ages. She has been named as one of the top 100 wellness personalities by Balance magazine, won Stylist's 2019 Rising Star award and Red magazine's Book of the Year in 2019. Currently, Poorna is an accomplished international public speaker and has a column in The i Paper, and writes for a number of publications including The Telegraph, Red magazine and The Times.
