Rathbones Folio Prize
The Rathbones Folio Prize is awarded to the book which, in the Judges' opinion, represents the truest example of literary excellence in any one year. It is open to all works of literature written in English of any genre or form (except for books written explicitly for children) and published in the UK.
The Prize is awarded annually for a book published in the previous calendar year. In 2023 the Prize winner will be announced on 27th March, with category shortlists announced on 31st January.
The Prize - also known as 'The Writers' Prize' - is unique in that books are nominated and judged exclusively by the international body of writers making up the Rathbones Folio Academy.
