Hi I’m Robin 👋 I am one of the cofounders of Extinction Rebellion and helped to lead a campaign to get the University of Bristol to divest its portfolio of fossil fuels (£2m). After this win, I decided to suspend my studies in Spanish and Portuguese to focus on climate activism. Since then I have gone on a 2 week hunger strike against the Heathrow Airport Expansion (VoteNoHeathrow), coordinated Communities and Operations at XR and been on spokesperson on various outlets such as BBC News, LBC and infamously, Sky News.

 

In May 2020, I contracted a very bad bout of Coronavirus and have suffered from Long Covid symptoms of chronic headaches and fatigue since. Never to be beaten, I now focus my time more on diving into books - from classic novels to the latest research - whilst I slowly recover. My mission is to make even the driest scholarly articles about civil resistance and climate breakdown into accesible resources for social change. I'm particularly interested in supporting other young people on this journey. I might even join them on TikTok to do it 😉
