The Salisbury Museum tells the story of a unique landscape which has been the cradle of unparalleled human achievement for over half a million years. 

The museum is home to outstanding archaeological collections - including finds from Stonehenge and Old Sarum, and the Pitt Rivers’ Wessex collection - ceramics, costume and the fascinating Salisbury drainage collection, which combined create a unique insight into the lives - ordinary and extraordinary - lived in Salisbury and the surrounding areas for thousands of years.
