I have a long history as an author going back to a series of three best selling counter-culture books that were published in 1972 - 74. Recently I've been bringing out books based on particular long term obsessions. The UK Plotlands is one such area that I've been documenting for over 40 years. The other is a related interest in working class culture. My work in this area was summarised in graphic form in the book SiLENCE! which came out last year and is being very well received. Before that there was the book of art photographs: Compostion, and the collective assemblage from my reprise of The Scratch Orchestra in the previous five years: Improvisation Rites.
